The race starts at First Place Sports in Orange Park, and finishes at the Orange Park Town Hall, including a tour along the tree-lined streets of Doctors Lake Drive.

• The 5K race starts at 8 AM.
• TECH Shirts for all pre-registered 5K runners, and medals for all finishers.
• The FREE 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9AM, with awards for all finishers.

Jayla’s Smile organization is a group created by an 8 year old who was diagnosed with Lupus, and her mother.  The organization works with children in Jacksonville communities as well as other local non-profit organizations with a focus on ailing children.

The Walk for Lupus in Jacksonville will cover the perimeter of the scenic A. Phillip Randolph Heritage Park, and for those who can, will include a second lap.

Caring and knowing people will be at this opportunity for the Lupus community to come together, to learn how to better live with Lupus, and raise awareness of the disease in their local communities.

If you have a friend or loved one suffering from Lupus, you know how this chronic, autoimmune disease can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body).

From birth to learning how to walk, children’s bodies are exposed to traumatic events. In some cases an adjustment can help the child elevate pain, avoid infections, and develop healthy motor skills.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Mandarin Museum and Historical Society.

• The Kayak portion of the Mandarin Biathlon is 5.78 miles. It starts at Walter Jones Park, travels around Mandarin Point to Mandarin Park.
• The Run/walk portion of the Mandarin Biathlon is 3.9 miles- starts at Mandarin Park and travels along Mandarin Rd, Brady Rd, and Flynn, to finish back at Walter Jones Park.

This race is open to men, women, and relay teams, and will start at 6:30 the morning of the Biathlon, with arrivals and Kayak drop offs at Walter Jones Park.

NO REGISTRATION DAY OF THE RACE.  – NO REFUNDS.  – SHOULD BE A BEAUTIFUL COURSE.
